Our clean and user-friendly learning management system (LMS) can host custom-designed branded courses and practical in-person assessment options all under one roof. As etrainu continues to expand into the North American market, an exciting opportunity for a sports sales executive has arisen.


Individual Sales Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals through building and maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Develop relationships with prospective Sports Governing Bodies (National, Regional, State), Professional Sports Organizations/Clubs and strategic partners in North America
  • Perform discovery and demonstrate the etrainu platform to prospective clients in the North American time zones
  • Utilize advanced sales, communications and business skills to position etrainu to overcome objections/resistance and close the sale
  • Develop tactical plans on how to engage key stakeholders within existing large accounts, and work through the organization to build new relationships

Organizational Responsibilities 

  • Participate as a member of the Sales Team and contribute to shaping growth strategy both regionally and globally
  • Work together closely with the Head of Sport to create proposals to clients that not only meet their key strategic initiatives and solve their learning requirements and challenges, but allow them to commercialize their IP
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to build lead automation, the Product Development team to inform new functional requirements, the Studio Team to price course development costs for clients and the Customer Success team to handover new clients post-sale
  • Assist the Head of Sports with other operational needs as required

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B software technology sales experience
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector and the sports industry, and with an established network, is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in selling above target in previous roles is desirable
  • A new business 'hunter' mindset, hunger, drive and determination are mandatory personal qualities required to be successful in this role. 
  • Driven, self-motivated, eager to learn, and strong work ethic and also comfortable working autonomously
  • Experience using a CRM, like Hubspot, is preferable
  • Experience in the eLearning industry is desirable but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to demonstrate commercial acumen in putting deals together
  • Ability to travel interstate or internationally (pending borders opening up)
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to adapt to change
