A face-to-face component is required to gain full coaching qualification.
The Level 1 and Level 2 NRL Referee courses are 100% iPad and Android tablet compatible, so you can complete training on the go! Refereeing is a fun, exciting, non-contact way to be involved with NRL.
A face-to-face component is required to gain full refereeing qualification.
The Leaguesafe course is required for anyone involved in the Game and is 100% online with no practical assessment required. As part of the NRL on-field policy, anyone aged 14 years and over must have a Leaguesafe Certificate as a minimum requirement to enter the field-of-play.
On completion of your Coaching or Refereeing NRL Online Courses, you are required to complete a short face-to-face training session. You will then receive a Certificate of Achievement once you have completed both online and face-to-face training (it is recommended to complete your online training before your face-to-face session).
Please note that you cannot be marked as competent until you have completed a face-to-face training session with a relevant provider. Go to playnrl.com to find the contact details of your nearest face-to-face training provider to book in your face-to-face training.
For more information see our NRL FAQ or email firstname.lastname@example.org. For face-to-face training queries, contact your face-to-face training provider. You receive their contact details in a confirmation email when you book your face-to-face training.
