Many are unsure how to approach the topic, how to help their coworkers, and what to do if they are experiencing such a condition. This course provides an overview for leaders and managers to increase their awareness of mental health, proficiently manage mental health conditions in the workplace, and help reduce the stigma associated with mental health conditions. It outlines ways to encourage helpful attitudes and actions towards mental health, improve mental health condition literacy, identify signs and symptoms of these conditions, and have an effective conversation with someone experiencing such a condition. It also outlines your rights and responsibilities when it comes to mental health in the workplace.
