etrainu partners with TeachAids to deliver world class concussion education

October 9, 2023

etrainu is excited to announce it has partnered with TeachAids to provide concussion education. These courses will initially be offered through the USYS University but will be available to sports organizations partnering with etrainu.

According to the Brain Injury Association of America, someone in the U.S. sustains a traumatic brain injury every 11 seconds – and more than 75% of these injuries are concussions. TeachAids has developed the CrashCourse product suite to help change the way people understand concussions.

Concussions can cause long-lasting cognitive, emotional, and physical issues when not treated properly. When it comes to youth sports, players typically don’t have access to the same resources and expertise as professional athletes. That highlights the importance of the training to youth sports organizations.

Through the US Youth Soccer University, players, parents, coaches, officials and administrators will have access to the CrashCourse product suite. Increased education and awareness of concussion will help the long term health and wellbeing of youth soccer players in the United States.

CrashCourse’s award-winning programs have been adopted by the most powerful organizations across the United States and the world including the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s National Governing Bodies, Stanford Medicine and the National Council of Youth Sports.

etrainu CEO Paul Hoon said “educating communities is at the heart of what we do. TeachAids is an industry leading organization based on world class research. Not only will their resources deliver tremendous value to etrainu’s communities, but their vision and mission are aligned with our own.”

"We are excited to partner with etrainu and integrate our CrashCourse content into their end-to-end solution for sports organizations. Supporting athletes and their surrounding communities through their global platform will be a meaningful expansion," says Dr. Piya Sorcar, Founder and CEO of TeachAids.
