Next Play Sports, LLC has partnered with etrainu to launch the Next Play Sports Mental Performance Academy, a learning platform centered around developing an elite mental performance skill set.
Bringing awareness to the mental game, Next Play Sports offers skills and strategies to develop and maintain elite mental performance across sports, business, and life.
Through the partnership with etrainu, Next Play Sports will provide a space for athletes & performers, coaches, sports officials, parents, and business leaders to easily access digital pathways that focus on mental performance training.
The decision to team up with etrainu made perfect sense. Rob Rorke, Next Play Sports Founder and Lead Mental Performance Coach, said, “etrainu and Next Play Sports have developed a great relationship and share a vision to bring awareness around the importance of investing in mental performance training and the positive impact it has on reaching peak performance. Partnering with etrainu allows us to provide an all-inclusive user experience to our members through a professional platform.”
The Next Play Sports Mental Performance Academy will provide athletes of all ages, parents, coaches, officials, and business leaders with an affordable and accessible option to develop essential mental performance skills.
A critical goal of Next Play Sports is to raise awareness around the topic of mental performance. They aim to educate those in sports and business about mental wellbeing and help them cultivate a supportive environment.
To provide this level of support, Next Play Sports will develop and deliver additional courses via etrainu’s preferred authoring tool, Chameleon Creator. This will help grow the platform and provide members with continuous learning opportunities.
Each course will focus on moving away from traditional, reactive approaches to mental performance to a more contemporary, proactive approach. They will leverage founder Rob Rorke’s wealth of experience in training, mentoring, and on-court work as a Division I Men’s NCAA Tournament Official.
The courses will highlight key concepts, such as preparing, planning, performing, and post-performance reflection, to achieve continuous improvement and success.
Initially, five courses will be available via the Next Play Sports Mental Performance Academy:
Following these courses, users will then become part of a monthly continuing education program, “Next Play Nation.” This community model offers members access to the best minds, content, and resources for mental performance each and every month.
Cameron O’Riordan, VP of Sales at etrainu, said, “This partnership really speaks to the relationships etrainu has built over the years within the sporting community. By powering the Next Play Sports Mental Performance Academy, etrainu will help provide a centralized source of truth for the Next Play Sports membership base.”
