etrainu Provides Platform for First Tee’s National Youth and Adult Training Programs
etrainu has partnered with First Tee to deliver engaging youth and adult training programs through its custom LMS and mobile app, enhancing learning, streamlining processes, and supporting over 10,000 mentors and volunteers across 150 chapters.
To further its commitment to building exceptional communities through education, etrainu is working with First Tee, an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower young people with life skills and character-building programs through the game of golf.
Leveraging etrainu’s platform, First Tee is engaging both youth participants and adults involved in delivering programs across its Chapter Network, including mentors and coaches.
“At etrainu, we’re committed to creating learning experiences that inspire growth both on and off the green,” said Paul Hoon, CEO at etrainu.
“Partnering with First Tee allows us to support young people and their mentors in building life skills through golf, helping to shape confident leaders for tomorrow’s communities.”
First Tee is using etrainu’s learning management system (LMS) integrated with Salesforce to manage efficient user provision processes for adults, to streamline educational pathways and to leverage the custom-branded mobile app for its audiences. First Tee is focused on providing an interactive and engaging training opportunities that keep participants and adults actively involved and minimizes First Tee's administrative burdens.
“While our core First Tee Programs focus on in-person delivery through our network of 150 Chapters, it remains important to us to engage the participants in new ways and continue to provide support to our over 10,000 adults who are involved in the network as staff and volunteers,” said Jennifer Weiler, senior vice president, First Tee Network.

To further engagement and drive completion, First Tee has also created a Trophy Case—a modified version of etrainu’s Skills Passport that allows learners to see their achievements in a visual manner.
etrainu's product team approached the design of the platform with an engagement-first mindset.
“We wanted the platform to feel like an experience, not just a tool. The courses are playful and full of personality, so it made sense for the platform to match that vibe. Every element was designed to invite curiosity and make learning feel approachable. It’s not just about ticking boxes, it’s about drawing learners into a journey they actually enjoy,” said Jake Wood, Head of Product at etrainu.
