etrainu named Official Education Partner of Wheelchair Rugby Australia
Wheelchair Rugby Australia (WRA) and etrainu are proud to announce etrainu as the Official Education Partner for WRA, supporting the development of coaches, officials and volunteers nationwide.
The partnership emerged from WRA's Officially Unsponsored campaign, a bold appeal to corporate Australia to back the Australian Steelers and the broader sport of wheelchair rugby.
Despite being ranked number two in the world, the Steelers have remained without major commercial backing, and the campaign has turned that gap into a genuine invitation for brands to step in. etrainu is proud to be one of the organisations answering that call.
As Official Education Partner, etrainu will support WRA's learning and development across its national footprint, including the World Challenge, the National League, the juniors program, and its officials and coaches development pathways.
Through the partnership, WRA will use etrainu's learning management system to build capability at every level of the game, from grassroots to the Steelers and the women's program. This will include using etrainu's AI Course Authoring functionality to build training courses from existing documents and prompts, giving the WRA team the ability to turn policies, manuals and coaching resources into structured learning content.
At its heart, the partnership is about strengthening the grassroots. Giving local coaches, officials, and volunteers better training builds stronger programs.

Cameron O’Riordan, VP of Sales at etrainu, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to growing participation and building stronger sporting communities across Australia.
"Wheelchair Rugby Australia does extraordinary work developing athletes, coaches and officials across the country, and we're proud to back that mission. Education is how sporting communities grow stronger, and this partnership gives us a meaningful way to contribute our platform and expertise to a sport we genuinely admire."
Chris Nay, Chief Executive Officer of Wheelchair Rugby Australia, welcomed etrainu to the WRA family.
“Having strong education and development pathways is critical to the future growth of wheelchair rugby in Australia, so we’re really pleased to welcome etrainu as our Official Education Partner. This partnership will help us better support the people who drive the sport every day, particularly our coaches, officials and volunteers, while also strengthening the systems and resources available across our programs nationally. We’re proud to have etrainu backing wheelchair rugby and supporting the wider community through the Officially Unsponsored campaign.”
