South Texas Youth Soccer Joins the USYS University

etrainu, alongside US Youth Soccer welcome South Texas Youth Soccer, who have joined the USYS University.

The US Youth Soccer University is the first-ever gathering of educational resources designed to educate members on a multitude of subjects so they can perform better on and off the field of play. 

South Texas Youth Soccer are currently implementing their own version of the University and will make it available for members over the coming months.

South Texas Youth Soccer’s vision is to be the recognized leader of youth soccer at all levels for their diverse membership. Representing more than 225 clubs and 100,000 members, South Texas Youth Soccer will impact a significant community through this implementation.

The University will bring together content from partners like TrueSport, Hospital for Special Surgery, Soccer Parenting, US Center for Safe Sport, Mojo and US Center for Mental Health and Sport. Alongside that, there will be a number of unique courses designed and developed by US Youth Soccer.

Alongside the national curriculum, South Texas Youth Soccer will utilize the University to begin developing State specific courses, initially focused on club administration. The combination of the national and State curriculum will create a lasting impact for players, parents, coaches, officials and administrators.

The University has two subscription tiers, freemium which contains introductory courses and access to the platform, and premium, which also includes exclusive course content for $5 per year. Learners will be able to sign up to the University and select the subscription model that best suits their needs.

South Texas Youth Soccer, through their commitment to their membership base have sponsored a number of premium licenses for the first 1000 users. Members will receive an email with a discount code to unlock premium content for free.

South Texas Youth Soccer will first onboard coaches and administrators to the University before expanding to players, parents and officials. Each member will be able to use the unique sign up page to create a free account on the platform.
