The Pacific Cultural Intelligence courses represent a major milestone for the Pacific Islander and Maori communities. These courses are a global-first offering, offering key insights into the experiences and cultures of the Pacific to promote awareness and understanding.
For founder David Lakisa, Pacific cultural intelligence is essential to the global community. The courses were born out of his two decades of personal and professional experiences in sports, community service, and education, and he saw a need in these sectors to offer holistic training and work towards cultural harmony.
With the new learning management platform, the partnership between etrainu and Talanoa will deliver a more streamlined and engaging approach to Pacific cultural intelligence.
The courses will be self-paced and available online, drawing on exclusive insights, experiences, and evidence-based research from Pacific Islander and Māori academics and industry-based practitioners. They explore cultural practices, spirituality, mana, sport, leadership, and business.
