The Why of Safety
Explore the importance of safety and reducing workplace errors.
- Team Development

Course Overview
What is safety? Why is it important? This module explores why it is important to maintain personal safety and what the potential consequences are if we compromise on our safety.
It also looks at how safety at work is primarily at risk from simple tasks and making poor decisions. Human error tends to be the main cause for mistakes: intentionally or unintentionally.
The Why of Safety also considers if workers are trained enough to ensure they can maintain their safety and that of others. With interactive videos and questions throughout, learners are invited to consider their own errors in the workplace, how they can take steps to reduce these errors, and what they can do to improve their safety.
