Course Overview
A critical responsibility for all leaders is to inspire team members to take ownership of their role as well as the challenges they encounter within that role. Ownership leads to greater autonomy and leverages the potential and capacity of the talent within the organisation.
In order to create the right environment for ownership, leaders need to present both a larger context as well as meaning for each challenge. The Communicating Strategy module explains a three-step approach to uncover and communicate the WHY, WHAT and HOW for any given initiative or task.
By providing context and meaning we open the door to a deeper and fuller understanding of the issues at hand. It is this understanding that enables people to bring their passion, creativity, and complete capability to the challenge. This is the power of ownership.
