Course Overview
Since the passage of the Respect@Work Act 2022, Australian employers have a positive duty under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 to proactively prevent workplace sexual harassment, sex discrimination, and hostile workplace behaviours — not simply respond after an incident occurs.
This shift in legislation means that failing to provide proper training and education to your workforce can now constitute a breach of your legal obligations. The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has published Seven Standards to guide organisations in meeting this duty.
⚠ Compliance Note: The AHRC can now investigate organisations for systemic breaches of positive duty. Providing documented, role-appropriate training - like this course - is one of the most important steps your organisation can take to demonstrate compliance.
etrainu's Respect at Work course equips every employee - from frontline staff to senior leaders - with the knowledge to recognise unlawful conduct, understand their obligations, and help build a genuinely respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
