Course overview
What do you do when someone has a seizure? This online course highlights the different types of epilepsy and their causes, and what disability support workers can do to help the people they support.
The training looks at emergency intervention that may be needed when a person has a seizure, when to administer medication such as midazolam, and the importance of authority to proceed: the circumstances when it might be okay to give a person medication to help them with their seizures.
A certificate of completion and 1 CPD point are issued at the end.
