COVID-19 and Infection Prevention
Online NDIS Training for Disability Support Workers
- Disability Support

Course overview
COVID-19 is no longer a national emergency, but it still poses a real risk to many of the people disability support workers assist. This online COVID-19 training course gives disability support workers and carers the practical steps they need to keep themselves and the people they support safe.
The course covers what COVID-19 is, how it spreads, the signs and symptoms to watch for, and who is most at risk. It walks through hand hygiene, physical distancing, surface cleaning, respiratory hygiene, and what to do when someone becomes unwell. Content reflects current Australian guidance and recent research on long COVID.
Workers receive a certificate of completion to add to their training records.
